About the event:
A 18 piece big band playing music from the great American song book of the 1940’s through to the 1970’s, in the style of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and featuring many of the singing hits of Frank Sinatra who in his day sang with all of these bands and many more.
The seats are sold every 1, 2 or 3 together, as a reservation for one person, as specified in the plan

David Locke formed the band in collaboration with Cyprus’s leading jazz pianist Giorgos Morfitis in September 2017, and the band has a cross section of musicians of all ages from 70’s down to 15 and its objective is to introduce and train young musicians.

David Locke (alto saxophone), Elli Michael (saxophone), Christos Zenios (saxophone), Stavros Spyrou (saxophone), Mic Allgood (baritone sax.), Stephen Walkley (trombone), James Adair (trombone), Adrian New (trumpet), Giorgos Haber (trumpet), Janet Baker (trumpet), David Shewan (trumpet), Doros Neocleous (drums), Rodrigo Caceres (electric bass), Stephen Alexander (guitar), Pavlos Daniel Loucaides (piano), Morfitis Giorgos (band leader).
Special guests for the performance: Elias Ioannou (trumpet), Marios Charalambous (tenor saxophone).
