Theater of Russian Ballet "Moscowia" in Ancient Theatre Curium, 03 October, at 20:30, presents the ballet "Love and Passion of Isadora"music of Schumann, Debussy, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and Schnittke.
Ballet dedicated to Isadora Duncan, a great dancer who had made a revolution in the world of ballet.
Duncan - the creator of the free, barefoot modern dance. She also became the first to use for your dance tops classical, symphonic and chamber music.
She has also had a great influence on the classical dance. Impressed Duncan classical ballet gained a lot of freedom and plastic movements.
"Love and Passion of Isadora" is divided into three segments based on the three main stages of the dancer’s life – from her first dance to her success and to her tragic death.
The ballet starts with a story of a young girl named Isadora and her passion for dancing. A passion that forces Isadora to leave the man she loves, as he wants her to stay forever with him and abandon her dancing career. But for Isadora this is impossible…
Isadora becomes famous and gains worldwide recognition, she has many admirers and it seems she has everything – happiness, love and success. Dancing is her religion, her whole life. But despite her successful career Isadora is unhappy in personal life, she loses her children and tragically dies being strangled by a scarf which had become a symbol of her dance.
