Historia de un amor is a music project inspired by Cuban sounds and the Cuban tradition with the aim to introduce the rich Cuban music culture to Cypriot audiences through an entertaining, joyful, summer evening.

The name Historia de un amor is translated into “The Story of a Love” and it is based on one of the most famous and most translated Spanish songs of all time, composed by Panamanian songwriter Carlos Eleta Almarán.
The 5-piece ensemble will be led by award-winning trumpet player Giannis Koudounas, a young Cypriot artist who is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most talented performers in Cyprus and the United Kingdom.
All music will be arranged by award-winning composer, Cypriot-Cuban Alexandros Darna who studied Composition at Intituto Superior de Arte in Havana, Cuba and his works are internationally acclaimed
