In this remarkable concert, Miltos Logiades conducts the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra in two iconic works of high art poetry, set to music by renowned Greek composer Elias Andriopoulos.
The poem collections Prosanatolismoi by Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseus Elytis and Odai by the poet of Greek romanticism, Andreas Kalvos, are masterfully set to music by the composer, creating a sublime atmosphere. The orchestra will be joined by the renowned Greek singers Theodora Baka - soprano and Tassis Christoyannis - baritone, ARIS Choir of Limassol, as well as prominent Cypriot actor Costas Charalambides in the poems recitation.
