About the event:
The Limassol Literary Society will present a concert where the Greek Serenates [ Street Love Songs] with mix harmoniously with the European Serenates. This will please those who have grown up with Schubert’s “Serenate” and “Plaisir D’ amour” , Spanish, Mexicans and other traditional work Cantata [ Street Love Songs] the Greek Serenates,
and the songs of our Middle East neighbours but the most of the Street Love Songs were
created and sung by the people in the Greek islands of “Eptanisa”. The origin of those songs were affected by the German and Italian chorus (corale) as well as by other traditional songs.
