About the event:
In the honor of 150th anniversary of the great Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, a unique series of concerts "Rachmaninoff Days" will be held in three towns of our island.
The concerts will feature the legacy of the composer, which truly adorns the golden fund of the world's concert repertoire.
A constellation of stars of the European classical music scene will take part in the program: the Cypriot pianist Yiannis Georgiou, educated in England and the Moscow Conservatory, who will open the concert with three piano preludes, the members of the Cypriot Symphony Orchestra - violinist Sorin Alexandru Horlea and cellist Yakub Otchenasek, the famous pianist Gergana Georgieva and young pianist Ella Zou-Zitoug.
The world famous soprano, star of the Bolshoi Theater, Oksana Gorchakovskaya will perform as a special guest on all three stages.
