Logline: The true story of how a fourteen-year-old girl escaped the slaughter of the Armenian genocide and embarked on an odyssey that took her to the heights of Hollywood.
Synopsis: This 96-minute film, Armenia's official submission for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars 2023, narrates the extraordinary journey of Aurora Mardiganian, a genocide survivor who became a silent movie star. After enduring immense tragedy, including the loss of her family and surviving slavery and Hollywood exploitation, she traveled extensively to raise awareness of the Armenian Genocide.
