International Ballet of Cyprus proudly presents the world premiere of ballet “Ellada mou” in the sounds of classical Handel and ethnic Greek music.
A girl dreams about ancient Hellas. She is surrounded by Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, charming Apollo, almighty Zeus, and the charismatic Dionysus. Nymphs and Amazons are whirled in dancing as exciting adventures happen.

Ballet to the music of Handel and Ethnic Greek music. A young girl has a beautiful dream about ancient Hellas. There she sees Aphrodite, Apollo, Zeus and Dionysus. Additionally Ares and Hermes and even satyrs and nymphs. They all surround the girl and Aphrodite herself shows the girl her beautiful dance. Apollo the most handsome immortal of all will bring sun light and music. Many adventures will happen in the dream. There are terrible and mocking satyrs, led by Dionysus, then the formidable and inexorable Ares who is in constant desire for war, the almighty Zeus who throws thunder and lighting and the cunning and insidious Hermes. And only Aphrodite, the beautiful goddess of love, goodness and light is next to the girl, trying to keep her safe and protect her. But still the girl was whirled in the mad dance of the satyrs, but the real world will call and save the girl
