On 28 September, a new festival will take place in Limassol, it is one of the best this year surprises for the residents and guests of Cyprus.

Organizers will show about 100 dream cars from all eras, many of which will be presented to the public for the first time. The play “Lelya and Minka", for children and “adults””, by the famous director Konstantin Soya, a graduate of two famous St. Petersburg workshops (V.M. Filshtinsky and Grigory Kozlov), based on the stories of Mikhail Zoshchenko “Lelya and Minka” will soon be in Cyprus!

Tequilajazzz will perform for the first time in Limassol on September 27th as part of their Tequilajazzz Family in Exile tour.

Tequilajazzz is one of the most iconic groups on the rock and alternative scene in Russia.

After Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine, Tequilajazzz suspended their concert activities in Russia, and the band’s leader, Evgeny Fedorov, left the country a week after the war began.

In February 2023, Tequilajazzz decided to resume their concert activities with both old and new material in a partially renewed lineup, because the music must go on.

“We look at the world with surprise, bewilderment, and sometimes with fear,” says Tequilajazzz leader Evgeny Fedorov. He is clearly losing his mind and does not seem to notice that he is fighting and dancing on the edge of the abyss. We meanwhile just compose songs that contain our thoughts about what to do and where to run – or vice versa: how to stay in the crowd and survive, looking at civilization flying into hell.”

“SΚΑΜΜΑΤΑ”. Premiere of the documentary film produced by the Department of Antiquities, Cyprus, directed by Danae Stylianou

Τhe Department of Antiquities, οf the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture, presents Skammata, a documentary film directed by Danae Stylianou. The film was produced in commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the coup d’état in Cyprus and the subsequent Turkish invasion. Foreign and Cypriot archaeologists along with retired staff members of the Department of Antiquities, evoke their personal memories, as they reflect on the collective trauma of war and its consequences on Cypriot archaeology. Interweaving archival material from excavations with captivating personal testimonies, Skammata presents momentous events that marked Cypriot archaeology, before and after the tragic summer of 1974.
