Ο Πολιτιστικός Λαογραφικός Όμιλος Λευκωσίας παρουσιάζει σε μορφή σκηνοθετιμένου αναλογίου το έργο του Μάριου Πόντικα “Ο Γάμος”.
Ο «Γάμος» αποδεικνύεται εφιαλτικά επίκαιρος ακόμη και σήμερα, καθώς, παρά τις νομοθετικές διευθετήσεις που χαρακτηρίζουν πλέον ως «βιασμό» όχι μόνο την άσκηση βίας, αλλά και την απλή λεκτική άρνηση του θύματος, ο λόγος γύρω από την ύπαρξη ή μη συναίνεσης κρατάει γερά.Απασχολεί, άλλωστε, εντονότερα από ποτέ σύγχρονες κινηματογραφικές ταινίες ή και τηλεοπτικές σειρές, ενώ το «πολιτικά ορθό» και το κίνημα «Me Too» έχουν προσθέσει νέες διαστάσεις.

Ζάκυνθος, 2020, καραντίνα.
Τρείς φίλοι, η Άνθη, ο Ανδρέας και ο Αντρέας βρίσκονται στην Ζάκυνθο για μονοήμερη εκδρομή. Εξαιτίας της καραντίνας αναγκάζονται να διανυκτερεύσουν σε ένα παλιό αρχοντικό. Ενώ η πλήξη και η βαρεμάρα αρχίζουν να τους κυριεύουν, ένας περίεργος «σεισμός» τους φανερώνει το μυθιστόρημα του Γρηγόριου Ξενόπουλου, Αναδυομένη. Με όχημα τη φαντασία τους και την ανάγκη τους για παιχνίδι, οι τρείς τους θα ταξιδέψουν στην Ζάκυνθο του 19ου αιώνα όπου θα συναντήσουν την κοντεσίνα Κλαίλια και τα περίφημα Μεμαρόπουλα, τον Παύλο και τον Ντένη. Τότε θα ξεκινήσει ένα ανατρεπτικό ταξίδι στον χρόνο γεμάτο ερωτισμό, μυστήριο, πάθη, χιούμορ και παιχνίδι. Πρόκειται για ένα ερωτικό κυνήγι μέσα από το οποίο η Κλαίλια καλείται να επιλέξει τον εκλεκτό ανάμεσα στα δύο αδέλφια. Το περιβόλι με τα λώτα, ο Υψόλιθος και η Αναδυομένη θα αγκαλιάσουν τους ήρωες και άλλοτε μαγεύοντάς τους και άλλοτε παραπλανώντας τους, θα τους φέρουν αντιμέτωπους με τα πιο βαθιά τους ένστικτα και θα τους οδηγήσουν σε ένα επικίνδυνο φινάλε.

Plektó duet is an ensemble formed by Cypriot musicians Eva Stavrou on flute and Natasa Hadjiandreou on percussion.The ensemble’s goal is to showcase the work of important composers of the 20th and 21st century to a wide audience, both in Cyprus and abroad, as well as to promote the characteristic timbres and extended techniques of our instruments. Plektó duet is involved, and very much interested in interdisciplinary projects, with the aim of expanding the boundaries of Art into an ever-changing society. One of their primary aims is educational action since both members, as educators, work on projects that actively involve students in the process of composing and performing musical pieces.
Plektó duet has received grants from competitive calls from the Cyprus Youth Board, the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and has organized concerts with great success at the Dance House Nicosia, the Cultural Foundation Bank of Cyprus, European University Cyprus and Technopolis20.Upcoming projects include premiering pieces from Cypriot composers organized by the Centre of Cypriot Composers, performing new pieces at Artos Cultural Foundation and organizing a workshop at Fengaros Music Village in Cyprus.

"Baby Riki" is a baby show aimed at small children based on a popular animated entertainment and educational project for children (‘KikoRiki’, or ‘Smeshariki’ in Russian). Parents and kids will find themselves in a cozy children's room, reminiscent of the ‘world of Malyshariki’ with familiar objects that were made bigger. In this room, kids will start their adventure with their favorite characters: Hedgehog, Kroshik, Nyusha, Panda and Barashik (‘KikoRiki’ characters). A baby show is a theatrical genre created for audiences aged 1 year and older. This theatrical format assumes a conflict-free narrative with a simple story; homely, cozy atmosphere; openness and understanding of the needs of the young viewer. The play created in the genre of baby theatre does not have as many words as a usual children's play. Instead, it is accompanied by calm and pleasant music, clear and positive visual images. Children watch the performance in a comfortable and safe environment together with their parents. Throughout the show they can interact with all the characters, which are theatrical dolls specifically created for the performance. Parents and children aren’t simply observers, but also participants in the story. Thanks to clear and familiar images and cozy atmosphere, the action of the show captivates, awakens interest, and gently introduces new viewers to the miracle of theatrical transformation. A baby show is an excellent opportunity for a child to learn about theatre for the first time.
