About the event:

An artistic composition of theatre, microsculpture, video art, cinema and music that took part in the Avignon Festival 2021. It is a free adaptation of the myth Procne and Philomela from Ovid's Metamorphoses, which is also found in the lost Sophocles’ tragedy Tereus.

Well, we took these two opposite words and combined them to create the first OFFSTAGE FESTIVAL on the weekend of 15 and 16 October 2022 at the Flea Theatre in Nicosia with a rich program of seminars and workshops for backstage arts by professionals of the entertainment industry of Cyprus.

About the event:

The singer Eleni Tsaligopoulou, the actress Eleni Kokkidou and six virtuoso musicians invite us on a journey, through notes and words, to the beginning of the 20th century; a journey filled with the of the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Smyrna. The city with the legendary beauty and tragic destruction, which will always be the loved “lost motherland” of the Greeks. One hundred years from the sad anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, Eleni Tsaligopoulou performs timeless songs from Smyrna and works by composers of the time, while Eleni Kokkidou narrates testimonies of the uprooting and excerpts from related works of Greek literature.

Η ΕΘΑΛ θέλοντας να τιμήσει τον πατριάρχη της Σύγχρονης Ελληνικής Δραματουργίας και με αφορμή την ανακήρυξη του 2022 ως «Έτος Ιάκωβου Καμπανέλλη» ξεκινά τη νέα θεατρική περίοδο με τη μαύρη κωμωδία «Τα τέσσερα πόδια του τραπεζιού», ένα από τα σημαντικότερα έργα της μεταπολιτευτικής περιόδου στην Ελλάδα. H Kolossaion Productions μετά τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες “ΜΑΓΙΑ Η ΜΕΛΙΣΣΑ” και “ΑΛΑΝΤΙΝ THE SHOW” που ενθουσίασαν χιλιάδες θεατές, παρουσιάζει την θεατρική παράσταση ΘΗΣΕΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΡΙΑΔΝΗ σε σκηνοθεσία Σοφίας Σπυράτου.
Ο «Θησέας και η Αριάδνη», είναι μια παράσταση για παιδιά που συνδυάζει το υπερθέαμα με το διδακτικό χαρακτήρα των αρχαιοελληνικών μύθων.
Η παράσταση διακρίθηκε με το πρώτο βραβείο παράστασης από την Ακαδημία Θεάτρου στην Αθήνα και με το πρώτο βραβείο παιδικής παράστασης από τα Θεατρικά Βραβεία Θεσσαλονίκης.
Μια φαντασμαγορική υπερπαραγωγή, με ηθοποιούς, εναέριους ακροβάτες, τραγουδιστές και μουσικούς δίνουν σάρκα και οστά στο μύθο.

Λόγω εκτεταμένων απαιτήσεων του στησίματος της εντυπωσιακής αυτής παραγωγής, οι παραστάσεις στις 22/10 & 29/10 στις 15:00 δεν μπορούν να πραγματοποιηθούν. Οι πελάτες που αγόρασαν εισιτήρια για τις πιο πάνω ημερομηνίες πήραν ειδοποίηση μέσω email με οδηγίες σχετικά με μεταφορά των εισιτηρίων τους σε άλλη διαθέσιμη ώρα παράστασης.

About the event:

The theatre's Artistic Director directs Itai Segal's latest play based on the terrorist attack at the Bar Noar (LGBT Center), in August 2009 in Tel Aviv. Amit Rahav (“Unorthodox” (Netflix)) stars as Jonathan, the gay son of an everyday loving family. A family, however, with secrets and wounds from the past, anxieties and destructive prejudices. After the savage shooting, Jonathan lies unconscious at the hospital, and no one can explain to his mother what her only son was doing in a gay bar. Thus begins a family drama at the center of which is a religious 17-year-old boy, who soon finds himself forced by his family to undergo conversion therapy.

Όσο για τη Ζωζώ Σαπουντζάκη; Δε θα δυσκολευτεί να κάνει σαματά με τη ζίλια της τραγουδώντας Α modo mio κοντράροντας τη Μέριλιν Μονρόε ενώ η Λάιζα Μινέλι θα χειροκροτεί την Μαρινέλλα από την κουίντα.
