Οι Κυπριακοί χοροί στον τόπο και τον χρόνο
Ο Λαογραφικός Όμιλος Λεμεσού μας προσκαλεί σε ένα γοητευτικό διαχρονικό ταξίδι στον Κυπριακό Λαϊκό Πολιτισμό, με κείμενα, εικόνες, μελωδίες, χορούς, λαϊκά έθιμα και τελετουργίες.
Συμμετέχουν το Χορευτικό Συγκρότημα και παιδιά του Ομίλου, παραδοσιακοί οργανοπαίκτες, τραγουδιστές και χορευτές, το μουσικό σχήμα «Αντάμα», οι καταξιωμένοι ερμηνευτές Μιχάλης Ττερλικάς, Νεόφυτος Αρμεύτης, Κωστής Κουλουμής και οι δεξιοτέχνες μουσικοί Μιχάλης Κουλουμής (βιολί) και Πέτρος Κουλουμής (λαούτο – τραγούδι).

Fresh Target Theatre Ensemble
Paris Erotokritou directs the award-winning theatrical work of the Australian author Tom Holloway "Red Sky Morning" (2009), in a Pancypria and Panhellenic premier. The story revolves around three members of a family. A woman. A man. A girl. In just one day, these three voices from a family interact to tell a story of isolation. Lost moments, dreams that are not shared and the tragedy of everyday life through a strong and liberating story about the need for communication. A play that deals with the need of man to love and be loved by asking questions that we rarely encounter with the intensity that the Australian author asks.

Five female artists,under the directions of Elena Antoniou, invade the Nicosia Municipal Theater, occupying the space and time allotted to them. WISH explores the relationship between the beholder and the person being observed; the women who experience the piercing gaze of Others. Can they redefine the boundaries set by the body by looking straight back into the eyes of the spectator? What’s there to be done so that women finally reclaim the space they deserve? Five women invade the theater, highlighting wish-ing as the only way to escape any subjective restraint. “The sole responsibility of the beholder is that of his infinite freedom”.

The Main Stage of ETHAL premieres at the Nicosia International Festival with the award-winning play by Mark Medoff "Children of a Lesser God". Lea Maleni, 20 years later, returns with "Children of a lesser God", this time not as a protagonist but as a director, giving her own special look at Medoff's play. The Tony Award-winning play, 42 years after its first theatrical release and 35 years after its successful transfer to the big screen, continues to thrill as it deals with human relationships and their anxious quest for communication.

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra continues its collaboration with musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, as it welcomes two more principals from its ranks: its Principal Horn, Stefan Dohr, and Wolfram Christ, long-time legendary Principal Viola of the Berlin Philharmonic, who is now a distinguished conductor. Stefan Dohr is one of the world’s greatest French horn soloists, proclaimed by the New York Chronicle as the “king of his instrument”. He will perform Richard Strauss’ Horn concerto no. 1, one of the most demanding concertos for this instrument. The concert will open with excerpts from Felix Mendelssohn’s breathtakingly beautiful incidental music to Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and will close with his Symphony no. 4, bursting forth with joie de vivre, energy and warmth, inspired by the composer's visit in Italy.
