According to Yannis Ritsos, Manos Loizos "is one of the most important forces of the Modern Greek song. His music is intimate, friendly and wins us from the first sound, according to a very wide social feeling, that includes our own also .... his songs were very much loved, they were sung and they will always be sung. "
His work, once sharp and political, sometimes erotic and nostalgic, remains alive and contemporary in our collective memory.
The members of the Cultural Club "DESMOS", founded by the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs of Limassol, through music, dance, speech, art, movement and expression, will take us to the work of that great composer. Among other things, they will sing well-known and popular songs such as The Road, The Accordion, Everything Reminds You, I follow you and many others, giving with their own interpretations a new breath in the work of that great composer.
The Cultural Dance Club of Limassol Dionysos will support us in the dance.
