Η Λευκωσία 2030 παρουσιάζει το «_Βam_Boom_», μια αντιπολεμική θεατρική παράσταση για την έκρηξη της παιδικής φαντασίας, σε σκηνοθεσία Μάριου Κακουλλή. Το έργο, που εξετάζει την οδυνηρή συνθήκη του πολέμου μέσα από τα μάτια των παιδιών, θα παρουσιαστεί στις 18 Μαΐου 2025 (11:00 & 17:00), στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Λευκωσίας κι εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο του Προγράμματος UNDER30 του 5ου Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Λευκωσίας… που δεν τελειώνει.

Детективная история о любви и ее последствиях

В центре почти детективного сюжета две супружеские пары, переживающие не самые простые времена. Неуспешная художница убеждена, что не склонна к ревности. Самоуверенный врач думает, что свободен в выборе женщин. Хрупкая домохозяйка ищет страсти и существует в воображаемом мире. Идеалист-адвокат задает себе и своим подопечным неудобные вопросы.
Вместе с героями спектакля зритель проходит через романтические, курьезные, трагические и фарсовые ситуации, пытается ответить на сложные и важные вопросы о любви и браке. Ставит «Острые предметы» режиссер Игорь Теплов («Космос», «Заповедник» и «Три Ивана» в Театре им. Пушкина): «История, которую мы рассказываем, не только о любви, но еще и о свободе. О границах, которые появляются, когда связываешь себя отношениями. Нашим спектаклем мы пытаемся ответить на вопросы: возможна ли в супружеских отношениях свобода? полюбив, ты обретаешь свободу или теряешь ее? измена освобождает или порабощает?»

Grand Concert at the Ruins of Ancient Amathus

A very rare music event is to take place on the site of Ancient Amathus on Friday 13th June. The Department of Antiquities has granted exceptional permission to Tatiana Stupak, to organise a very special concert of classical music. It will take place under the stars, beginning at sunset.

Stupak will play special arrangements of music by Frédéric Chopin, on a grand piano, accompanied by a string quintet (two violins, viola, cello and bass). Two of the quintet will be musicians from Belgrade radio and television, who will fly in from Serbia, and the other three will be Cypriots. All the musicians are highly professional winners of international music competitions.

In addition to the music by Chopin, Elena Soskova will sing, accompanied by Stupak at the piano. The singer is a coloratura soprano, which is the highest form of soprano voice. An extremely talented 16 year old Cypriot tenor singer, Ioannis Livanos, will also perform some famous operatic arias, again with piano accompaniment.

After the music concludes, there will be a brilliant fireworks show.
