Τώρα και στην Κύπρο η κωμωδία των Αλέκου Σακελλάριου- Χρήστου Γιαννακόπουλου «Υπάρχει και φιλότιμο». Το πρώτο ανέβασμα του έργου έγινε από το Θέατρο Τέχνης το 1950 με τίτλο «Ανώμαλη προσγείωση», σε σκηνοθεσία του Καρόλου Κουν. Στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’60, ο Λάμπρος Κωνσταντάρας επιχειρεί νέο ανέβασμα με νέο τίτλο και το έργο δοξάζεται αρκετές φορές στη σκηνή και φυσικά στην κινηματογραφική οθόνη.
