Nicosia 2030 presents the Greek composer Stavros Gasparatos and his new work "Expanded Piano II"

Nicosia 2030, believes in the organic collaboration between existing artform and technology and presents the composer Stavros Gasparatos and his new work "Expanded Piano II". It is an artistic work that, as the composer says, sinks the audience inside the piano. In the heart of the concert a hybrid musical instrument which combines an acoustic piano with a mechanic and electronic installation which in turn is in dialogue with a video installation. The performance is part of the Nicosia 2024 International Festival and will take place on Tuesday, November 5 (20:30), at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre.

Το 1o Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Παραστατικών Τεχνών για Παιδιά και Νεαρά Άτομα Mitsikouri, που διοργανώνεται από το Κέντρο Θεάτρου για Παιδιά και Νεαρά Άτομα – ASSITEJ Κύπρου, θα φιλοξενήσει 11 υψηλού επιπέδου παραστάσεις θεάτρου, χορού και και μουσικής για παιδιά, από 10 χώρες: Ολλανδία, Ιταλία, Ισπανία, Κύπρος, Λιθουανία, Ιρλανδία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Ελλάδα, Ισλανδία και Φινλανδία. Στο πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνονται παραστάσεις για όλες τις ηλικίες παιδιών, από 0 μέχρι 18 ετών.

Στόχος του Φεστιβάλ είναι να παρουσιάσει στο κυπριακό κοινό τις σύγχρονες τάσεις στον τομέα των παραστατικών τεχνών για παιδιά διεθνώς, καθώς και να προσφέρει στιγμές συγκίνησης, μαγείας και γέλιου για όλη την οικογένεια. Με τη συμπερίληψη να αποτελεί τη θεματική της πρώτης αυτής έκδοσης του Φεστιβάλ, στην πλειοψηφία τους οι παραγωγές που θα παρουσιαστούν θα ανήκουν στην κατηγορία του μη λεκτικού θεάτρου, κάτι που τις κάνει προσβάσιμες σε παιδιά κάθε καταγωγής.

Οι παραστάσεις θα παρουσιαστούν σε επτά διαφορετικούς χώρους σε Λευκωσία, Λεμεσό και Λεύκαρα, ενώ η προπώληση των εισιτηρίων θα ξεκινήσει στις 13 Σεπτεμβρίου, από την ιστοσελίδα της SoldOut Tickets. Για τις παραστάσεις στη Λεμεσό, η προπώληση θα γίνεται από την ιστοσελίδα του Θεάτρου Ριάλτο.

Το Φεστιβάλ θα φιλοξενήσει, επίσης, ένα πλούσιο παράλληλο πρόγραμμα με εργαστήρια, συζητήσεις και διαλέξεις. Οι παράλληλες δράσεις θα απευθύνονται σε παιδιά, γονείς, επαγγελματίες των τεχνών, καθώς και εκπαιδευτικούς και θα παρουσιαστούν αναλυτικά την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα.
