Ο Charlie και το εργοστάσιο σοκολάτας είναι ένα μιούζικαλ φαντασίας βασισμένο στο ομώνυμο βιβλίο του Ρόαλντ Νταλ. Ακολουθούμε τον Charlie ο οποίος κερδίζει ένα διαγωνισμό μαζί με άλλα τέσσερα παιδιά και οδηγείται από τον κύριο Wonka στο εργοστάσιο σοκολάτας του. Τα περισσότερα βράδια στο σπιτικό των Bucket το δείπνο είναι μια νερωμένη σούπα. Κάθε βράδυ το τελευταίο πράγμα που βλέπει ο Τσάρλι από το παράθυρο του είναι το επιβλητικό εργοστάσιο σοκολάτας. Για σχεδόν δεκαπέντε χρόνια, κανένας δεν έχει δει ούτε έναν εργάτη να μπαίνει ή να βγαίνει από το εργοστάσιο, ούτε κανένας είδε ποτέ του τον ίδιο τον ιδιοκτήτη Willy Wonka. Κι όμως κατά ένα μυστηριώδη τρόπο, ακόμη κατασκευάζονται μεγάλες ποσότητες σοκολάτας, οι οποίες αποστέλλονται σε όλο τον κόσμο. Απρόσμενα ένα πρωί, ο Willy Wonka θα κάνει μια απίστευτη ανακοίνωση. Θα καταφέρουν τα παιδιά να ανακαλύψουν τα μυστικά του εργοστασίου;

It's a hilarious Greek comedy that you will remember for a long time! In a brothel, three greedy petty bourgeois, a prostitute with erotic issues, two Russian prostitutes, one specializing in Thai massage and the other in pole dancing, a fan of Marinella, a lying scumbag and a picture of cross-eyed Saint Christoforos they get messy, and they entertain you non-stop for 90 minutes! It was written at the beginning of the economic crisis at Greece {2010} from the successful twin playwrights Reppas & Papathanasiou with many theatre and film successes. Their humour “breaks bones”, but it is one of the basic elements of their personality that makes them stand out. RAUS makes you laugh a lot. Only after all this laughter you understand how hard and bitter this text is.

Το «για όλα φταίει η Κονγκολέζα» είναι ένα έργο, που πραγματεύεται, πολλές φορές με χιούμορ, όλα αυτά τα «μικρά» εγκλήματα έμφυλης βίας, την τοξική «ματσίλα», τον ακραίο σεξισμό, που νομιμοποιούνται μέσα από το χαρακτηρισμό τους ως μέρος του «γυναικείου» ρόλου και που καλούνται καθημερινά όλες οι γυναίκες να παίξουν. Το έργο αποκαλύπτει όλα αυτά που η κοινωνία, το σύστημα, αναγκάζει τα κορίτσια να «φορέσουν», σαν μέρος της χορογραφίας του φύλου τους, για να αποενοχοποιείσει πατροπαράδοτες κακοποιητικές συμπεριφορές και την εκμετάλλευση της γυναίκας.

A colourful ritual by Nama Dama as part of the Nicosia 2030 actions
Nicosia 2030, candidate for European Capital of Culture as part of its goal to support young artists presents Nama Dama with special guest, young artist Alexa Michael. The performance will take place on 10 November 2024 (20:30), at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre.
The ecstatic voice of Nama Dama will flood the Nicosia Municipal Theatre with the music of her new album "Pagan Soul", which is released this winter. This is a woman's musical performance, an amalgam of pagan folk motifs, woven together with soul-pop vocals and electronic textures through live looping.
